Browsing the guide

This website does not offer user accounts, collect bookings or submit contact forms. If you accept optional cookies, it uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how people use the guide.

Like other websites, requests to load pages and images are processed by the web server. The hosting service may keep operational access and error logs, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested page and request time. These are separate from your saved trip list.

When accepted, Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser details, referring pages and interaction events. Your saved places

When you save a place, its destination identifier is stored in your browser's local storage. This lets the trip planner remember your choices when you return using the same browser. The saved list is not sent to an account or a trip-planning database and does not sync between devices.

You can remove a place through its save control or clear the list in the trip planner. Clearing this website's stored data in your browser also removes the list. Private browsing, disabled storage or clearing browser data may prevent your choices from being retained.

Maps and other websites

Directions and official-information links take you to external services. Those providers handle requests under their own privacy policies. Opening a directions link does not give this website access to your device's location.

This guide does not request your precise location. If a maps provider asks for location permission after you open its website, that choice belongs to your interaction with that provider.

Cookies, analytics and future changes

Optional analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. The Google Analytics tag loads only after you select “Accept optional cookies”. “Reject optional cookies” leaves them denied. Your choice is stored in this browser so the site can remember it, and you can change it using “Privacy choices” in the footer.

The optional saved-places feature uses local storage rather than a cookie. If advertising is introduced, this notice and the site's AdSense consent configuration must be reviewed again before ads are enabled.
